The successful candidate must have the ability to multitask, maintain focus and remain calm under emergency conditions despite many interruptions.
The position will require working 12 hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Duties:
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance - Gather accurate and detailed information from callers - Dispatch appropriate personnel and resources to incidents - Maintain communication with field units to provide updates and support - Operate and monitor various communication systems, including phone systems and GPS - Transcribe and document information accurately - Perform data entry tasks to update records and logs
Qualifications:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to negotiate and handle stressful situations calmly and effectively - Knowledge of first aid procedures is preferred - Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and terminology is a plus - Proficient in data entry and computer skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Note:
